Lift-sharing
If you would like to join a WhatsApp group for arranging lift shares to Arnside and District Natural History Society (ADNHS) trips, please supply your name and mobile phone number to Clare Shaw on 07827 867188 and we will add you to the group.
You will need to have or download the free WhatsApp app to your phone. Participation in this group is, of course, not obligatory. We think it might be a good way for members to arrange lift shares with others living nearby or on the route.

Guidelines
If you consent to joining the WhatsApp group, it is important to note that your telephone number will be visible to all within the group. If you are not happy with this, you do not need to join.
The telephone numbers of group members must not be communicated or used to directly contact those members (i.e. by phone call or text) without their consent. Please only contact others in the group through the app.
The WhatsApp group is for the purpose of arranging lift shares to ADNHS meetings. It should primarily be used to ask for and offer lifts. It may occasionally be used to pass on other relevant information, e.g. in the event of changes to trip details or cancellation. Please do not use the group for general chat or private conversations.
Once you have agreed a lift-share, you may wish to finalise details by private messaging in WhatsApp.
